I was taking a art lesson Terry’s name came up and that’s how I found out he had died. I was taken aback by this news. He was and is and has turned my life for the better taking his courses in person and with his videos open up confidence and talent that I didn’t know existed. Terry some how finally let me “get it” no other teacher ever inspired me like this man. Honorable sweet natured funny and talented all rolled up into one along with Judy they made for a dynamic duo. I’m honored to have known them both they left behind a great legacy which will forever be remembered by me and everyone else out there that he and Judy touched.

I was so saddened to hear of Terry's passing. I was one of the lucky people to be blessed by his wonderful teaching watching his shows on PBS. He really did make you feel like you could do anything and was so encouraging. I had always hoped to meet him some day, but I feel so blessed that I got to know him through his shows. He was truly a wonderful and kind man. Having just lost my own father in June, I know the heartache that his family is going through at this time and I send my love and prayers to them all.

I was saddened to learn of the passing of Terry. I had the privilege of attending his class in August, 2005 in Florida and becoming a Madden Certified teacher. Terry and Judy were outstanding people.

I have never had the opportunity to meet Terry in person, but I am a member of his online watercolor workshop. Like so many others, I looked forward to receiving his watercolor tutorials and enjoyed his happy disposition and fun style of teaching. I enjoyed hearing him talk about all the places he and his wife visited. My deepest condolences go out to Terry's family. It is rare that a person has the ability to impact so many people in such a positive way. I hope his wonderful legacy will bring some comfort and peace at this most difficult time.

Terry was a friend, a partner, and a spiritual mentor for many years. He taught me the real meaning of grace, and was always encouraging. I had the privilege of speaking with him almost daily for nearly 15 years, and seeing him bless hundreds, even thousands of people with his unique watercolor talent and teaching gifts. To this day, I continue to hear from people who tell me how much he meant to them.

I was so impressed with how upbeat and positive he was in some of the most difficult times of his life, and I am forever changed for the better because of the time we spent together.

May God Richly Bless You Scott, Stacey and Family. I am very saddened to hear of your father's passing; but, very thankful for his life and his impact on ours.

Sincerely,
Lou & Kim Escalante

Terry was a blessing to all he came into contact with here at the library.
We had some really great talks over the years. So blessed by his life and now he is free and with the love of his life! Both of them!
Prayers and thoughts are with your family and may God's peace blanket you with his love.
