Harold Edwin Jefferson, 80, of Glenmoore, passed away on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at Hickory House Nursing Home. He was the beloved husband of Kathy A. Jefferson, with whom he shared 25 years of marriage.
Born in Stoneham, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late Harold Ernest and Edna Gertrude Williams Jefferson. Harold grew up in Saugus, Massachusetts and graduated from Saugus High School and then received his bachelor’s degree from the University of New Hampshire.
He proudly served his Country in the United States Army, earning the rank of 2nd Lieutenant. He worked at Sonoco Paper Company and then retired as a Machine Operator from Taylor Publishing in 2002.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, David Jefferson, Lori Smith and Mary Hill; two step-sons, Victor Rosario, Jr. and Steven Rosario; 13 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and his dog, Diggs.
A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at the James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 E. Lancaster Avenue, Downingtown. Family and friends will be received from 6:00-7:00 pm.
Interment will be held privately with the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 399 Market Street - Suite 102, Philadelphia, Pa 19106.
