Gregg Corradi, 57, of Chester Springs, passed away on Friday, March 24, 2017 at Paoli Hospital. He was the heart and soul and beloved husband of Laura R. Wickes Corradi, with whom he shared 17 years of marriage.

Born in Rocky River, Ohio, he was the son of Frank Corradi and the late Jean M. Hamilton Corradi.

Gregg received his culinary degree from Culinary Institute of America in New York and worked as a chef all over the world for 25 years and loved cooking for family and friends. He then worked as a self-employed carpenter for 10 years.

He absolutely loved animals and they adored him. Some of his friends called him the animal whisperer. Gregg was a gentle, kind man with the sweetest heart. He loved to spend time with his friends and family and he will be missed by all.

In addition to his wife and father, Gregg is survived by his siblings, Frank G. Corradi, Joyce A. Mazzeo and David T. Corradi; the entire Wickes family and a host of nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 7:00 pm, Thursday, March 30, 2017 at the James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 E. Lancaster Ave, Downingtown. Family and friends will be received from 5-6:45 pm.

Interment will be private with the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Brandywine Valley SPCA, 1212 Phoenixville Pike, West Chester, PA 19380.
