Ann Elizabeth “Nancy” Coleman (nee McDonald), of West Chester, passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at the age of 74. She is preceded in death by her husband of 15 years, Clarence William Coleman, and brother Eugene H.J. “Fritz” McDonald III.
She was the daughter of the late Rita Marie Cowley and Eugene H.J. “Fritz” McDonald Jr.
She is survived by two sons; Clarence Dwayne Coleman of Cape Coral, FL and Kevin Wade Coleman (Jessica) of West Chester, PA, 3 sisters; Catherine Marrone of West Chester, PA, Marita Scheibe (Gary) of Glenmoore, PA, Maureen Nacci (Vincent) of Carlisle, PA, and sister in law Andrea McDonald of Turnersville, NJ, 10 grandchildren, and 9 nieces and nephews.
Nancy enjoyed cooking, baking, and spending time with her family. She also loved to read, and read, and read, but mostly read. She enjoyed reading novels about old English history and royalty and current day mysteries.
She graduated from Villa Maria Academy in 1961, and spent most of her career in the transportation industry and retired from A. Duie Pyle Trucking Company in 2009 after 18 years in the Safety Department. She also worked off and on part time through those years for doctors’ answering services. Nancy was currently employed at the Call Center Connect at the time of her illness.
Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral service on Friday, February 2, 2018, at the James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 E. Lancaster Avenue Downingtown, PA 19335, visitation will be from 9:30AM-10:50AM, followed by an 11AM service. Interment will follow to Philadelphia Memorial Gardens, Frazer, PA.
