My Aunt Lucy was a very special person - beautiful from the inside / out. She had such a gentle heart. I know that she is looking down on us. She is re-united with my mom and they are having a ball! I love you, Aunt Lucy and will always treasure my memories of you.

My Aunt Lucy was always willing to show her love and care for everyone. She was a special person and I travelled to visit her a few times as an adult because she was such a part of my personal "root system." My memories of her loving nature have, and always will stay with me.
I am so sorry for your loss, cousins for I know what a great loss it is indeed. I love you all.

Dear Steven, Mike, David, Diane, Richard, & your families,

A TRIBUTE TO YOUR MOM/GRANDMOM:

My dear Aunt Lucy was one very special Godly LOVING woman who LOVED WELL, loved always, was KIND, CARING, generous, self-sacrificing, considerate, astute, wise Proverbs 31 woman that nurtured people and SAW people and met their needs in ways others missed. She demonstrated HOPE to others and helped others to believe in their own God given value and worth. She gave out the message of forgiveness and love in her life and in her words to others. She saw the musical gifts and talents of my older sister Linda and helped to develop them. She defended the weak and protected the innocent. She listened to people. She really listened to what they said and what they did not say. She listened to me. She stopped to see the heart, she looked and “saw” my feelings. She made such a difference in so many lives by the way she loved and cared and lived.

I have not seen my Aunt Lucy in decades but I have been impacted by her life in the foundation of my heart and in the foundation of our family each and every one of my siblings has in their own assorted similar memories of a caring loving Aunt that we dearly loved and knew cared and loved us dearly. We have missed her all these years living away and we will miss her til we are reunited in Heaven once again. Thank you Aunt Lucy for being a model of a Godly Woman of Faith that LOVED JESUS AND showed HIS LIFE IN LIFE.

To the family of Lucy DiLuigi, I was a classmate at Delaware Hospital School of Nursing, class of 1946. Lucy was everyone's friend and the beautiful sweetheart of our class. I was away from this area for 72 years and questioned everyone I met from Downingtown, hoping they knew the Blumberg's. I did not know her married name. I am sad to learn she is no longer here. My sincere condolences to your entire family.

Dear DiLuigi Family, I was in charge of the volunteers at CCH during your mom's tenure as "candy mom". She worked for me for the 14 years I was there, and was in that position even before that. I loved Lucy as if she were my own mother. She was an amazing, beautiful, loving woman and I feel very blessed to have known her. My prayers are with all of you. Please take time to enjoy all the beautiful memories you have of her.
