Walter G. Campbell

Walter G. Campbell, 58, of Temple, PA passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 28, 2018.

Born on March 6, 1960, he was the son of Anne R. Sweeney Campbell and the late Alfred E. Campbell. 

Walt proudly served his country with honor in the United States Marine Corps from November 1980 through November 1984 and received various merits and awards. 

In 2002, Walt achieved his Business Management degree from Stockton College.  Walt owned and operated a successful handyman business for nine years prior to moving to Pennsylvania in 2013. Since then, he has been working within the hospitality industry at hotel in Malvern, PA.  

Most recently, Walt found happiness with Kim Madeira, with whom he resided.  They enjoyed gardening, feeding wildlife, camping, fishing, bike riding and working together around the house.  In addition to his mother, Walt is survived by his sisters, Anne Bavuso and Kathleen Campbell; his brother, David Campbell; his significant other, Kim Madeira; Grandchildren, Ava, Ryan, and Max Keneff; and by 14 nieces and nephews.

Walt was predeceased by his father and by his brother, Alfred J. “Tag” Campbell. 

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 3, 2019 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 332 Manor Ave., Downingtown, PA.  Family and friends will be received from 8:45-9:45 a.m.

Interment will be in SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
