Vincenzo Schiano di Visconte

April 30, 1959 ~ August 6, 2019 (age 60)

Vincenzo “Vince” Schiano di Visconte, age 60 of Glenmoore, PA passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2019, at home surrounded by his loving family.

Born in the town of Pozzuoli in the province of Naples, Italy, Vince lived the first 18 years of his life in his home town of Monte di Procida. After military service, he moved to Rome and worked alongside his two cousins, Michele and Vincenzo Schiano di Visconte in a seaside restaurant called “La Capannina”.

Vince immigrated to the United States in 1982 and began his career in the restaurant industry by working for friends. He opened his first restaurant with his Uncle Domenico in Warminster, PA. As the owner of Sal’s Italian Ristorante & Pizzeria in Exton for 25 years he came to be adored & respected by many.

Outside of his profession, Vince’s true loves were his family, dear friends, and loving German Shepherd “Luna”. His other passions included classic cars, cooking and eating.

Vince is preceded in death by his father Antonio Schiano di Visconte and late son, Anthony.

Vince is survived and missed by his wife Michelle Schiano di Visconte, with whom he shared 29 years of marriage, 2 loving children; daughter Angela and son Antonio Schiano di Visconte, mother Angela Schiano Moriello, sister Carmela Schiano di Visconte, and many extended family members and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 PM, Monday, August 19, 2019 at S.S Philip and James Church, 107 N. Ship Road, Exton, PA 19341. Family and friends will be received from 10AM – 11:45AM. Interment private.
