Thomas Patrick Walsh, Jr., 20, of Chester Springs, passed away suddenly on Sunday, April 22, 2018.
Born on February 4, 1998, he was the beloved son of Thomas P. Walsh, Sr. and Cynthia (nee Brookover) Walsh, both of Chester Springs.
Tommy graduated from Downingtown East High School in 2017 and was excelling as a freshman student at West Chester University.
Everyone who knew Tommy was immediately taken in by his infectious smile, his incredible sense of humor, and his ability to walk in and light up a room. He was a terrific mentor and made such a positive impact on people.
A loving, loyal and intelligent young man who gave 100% in every aspect of his life - whether it was in the sports he played, being a good son, brother, cousin, nephew, grandson or friend.
He shined brightly in this world as he forever will in heaven.
In addition to his parents, Tommy is survived by his brother, Matthew Walsh; step mother, Karen Walsh; maternal grandparents, John and Sharon Brookover; and paternal grandfather, Thomas D. Walsh.
He is also survived by his aunt's and uncle's, Jamie and Kristin Biggs, Jill and Christopher Walsh, David and April Walsh, Don and Kara Walsh, Jennifer Arnold and Lou Rossetti; loving cousins, Emily and Louis Rossetti, Collin and Aidan Walsh, David Walsh, Rachel Walsh, Connor Walsh, Violet And Blake Walsh, Cody Kingsley and Noah Arnold; great aunt and uncle Art Beil; and beloved girlfriend and soul mate, Hannah Wurzel.
An evening visitation will be held from 5 to 8 pm on Thursday, April 26th at the James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 E. Lancaster Ave., Downingtown.
A memorial service will take place at 11 am on Friday, April 27th at Central Presbyterian Church, 100 W. Uwchlan Ave., Downingtown, PA 19335.
Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Tommy’s memorial can be made to the charity of one’s choice.
