It is with great sadness and much love that we mourn the peaceful passing of Scott Nemitz of Chester Springs, PA on July 17, 2020 at the age of 45 years.
Scott is the beloved son of Arthur Nemitz, cherished brother of Tricia Piontek (Christopher), and adored uncle of Rees Piontek. He is also survived and lovingly remembered by his aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless other family and friends who were blessed to have known and loved him.
Scott is preceded in death by his beautiful mother Monica.
Scott will be forever remembered for his unfailing selflessness, generous heart, compassionate spirit, and great capacity to bring happiness and joy to others. His remarkable strength, courage, and enduring sense of humor in his battle against lung cancer were an inspiration to all whose lives he touched. Scott’s deep commitment to family and friends was immeasurable. He especially loved his role as Uncle Scott and was a loving and devoted owner to his dog Boomer.
Scott’s family extends their heartfelt gratitude to all for their infinite love and support of Scott.
Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service celebrating Scott’s life at St. Joseph Catholic Church located at 332 Manor Avenue, Downingtown, PA 19335 on July 23, 2020 at 11:30 am with a visitation prior from 10:00 – 11:15 am. For those who are unable to attend, Scott's service at 11:30 am will be live-streamed and can be accessed here.
Interment will be in St. Matthew's Lutheran Church Cemetery in Chester Springs, PA.
