Sandra S. DiRico

Sandra “Sandi” (nee Scharff) DiRico, 63, of Kennett Square, passed away peacefully, in her home, on Sunday, December 8th, 2019; after a long, courageous battle with lung cancer.

Born in Montclair, New Jersey, Sandi was the youngest daughter of the late Robert Kenneth and Eleanor Marie (nee Schultes) Scharff.

Up until 2018, Sandi worked for 28 years at ATPAC; most recently as their Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Eastern Division.

She had a generous spirit, joie de vivre, and resilience that will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.

Sandi will forever be missed by so many who were lucky to have known her.

Sandi is survived by a sister, Dorinda Hawkins of Remsenburg, New York; step-father, J. Allen Cox, Jr. of Kennett Square; step-sisters, Patty Falo (Jing) of Austin, TX, Sandy Cox of  San Antonio, TX, and Alison Urban (Steve) of Leader, TX; step-brother, J. Allen Cox, III (Sally) of Aston; as well as her beloved dog, GG.

In addition to her parents, her beloved brother, Kenneth R. Scharff, also predeceased her.

A Life Celebration will be held at 11 am on Saturday, January 4th at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 1105 E. Lincoln Highway, Exton, PA 19341.

Her interment will take place in the Spring of 2020 in the family plot at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield, New Jersey.

Sandi's wishes were that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to St. Paul's Episcopal Church at the above address and/or the American Cancer Society (Click here for link).
