Rosemary A. Carr

Rosemary A. Carr, 87, of Coatesville, passed away peacefully at home the morning of Saturday, December 19, 2020, surrounded by family.

She was the loving wife to the late George F. Carr, as well as the daughter to the late Rose Treston and Francis Langan.

She was a graduate of Coatesville High School.

Anyone who knew “Rosie” will remember her large collection of Tweety Bird memorabilia.

Rosemary is survived by one brother Patrick Langan, seven children Cindy Carter (Al), Blaine Carr, Brenda Rice (Rod), Debbie Baker (Ed), Brent Carr (Vivian), Geneva Thomas (John), and Nadine Carr. Eighteen grandchildren, 33 great-grand children and 1 great-great grandchild. In addition to her husband and parents, Rosemary is preceded in death by brothers Francis Langan and Thomas Langan, along with the recent deaths of her son-in-laws Al Carter and John Thomas and daughter-in-law Vivian Carr.

A graveside service will be held at 11 am on Monday, December 28, at Fairview Cemetery in Coatesville.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Rosemary’s honor and memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
