Robert “Bob” Shuler

Robert “Bob” Shuler, 73, of Downingtown passed away Friday, June 29, 2018 at Brandywine Hospital.

Known as Bob, he was the son of the late William and Edna (Tice) Shuler and the husband of Joanne (nee. Babich) with whom he shared 48 loving years of marriage.

Bob was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, having served during Vietnam. He was also a member of the Valley View Hunting Club, and was a former member of Saint Joseph’s choir.

Bob loved the outdoors; some of his favorite things to do were fishing, hunting, golfing and gardening .

He found enjoyment in bird watching and chasing away the squirrels that would attempt to raid his bird feeders.

In addition to his wife, Joanne, Bob is survived by his sons, Jeffery and Jason (Julie) Shuler, his brothers; William and Michael Shuler; and his grandchildren; Andrea, Ryan, Gavin, and Grayson Shuler.

Services for Bob will be held Friday, July 6, 2018 at Saint Joseph’s Parish, 332 Manor Avenue Downingtown, PA 19335 with a Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 10:30am, and calling hours from 9:00am - 10:15am.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bob’s honor to Saint Joseph Parish.
