Richard Thomas Connor, Sr., 74, of Downingtown, passed away at his home on Saturday, July 6, 2019.
Born on September 21, 1943 in Chester County, he was the son of the late James Francis and Catherine Pollini Connor.
Richard was a veteran of the USMC. He was a former employee of Wythe Laboratories and enjoyed the sport of pool, being a collector and his motorcycles. He was of the Catholic faith.
Those proceeding him in death are his parents; his brothers, James Francis Connor, III and Robert Michael Connor and by his sister, Carol Lamb.
He is survived by his son, Richard Thomas Connor, Jr. and his wife Tammy of Cedar Bluff, VA; his daughter, Stephanie Hickman of Clearwater, FL.; Five grandsons, Justin Connor (Tabitha), Jeremy Connor (Brittnee), Joshua Connor, Jared Lyons (Ashley) and Ben Lyons; one great grandson, Jacob Lyons and a great granddaughter, Annabelle. He is also survived by a half sister, Catherine Warren and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may visit from 4:00-5:45 p.m., Friday, July 12, 2019 at the James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 E. Lancaster Avenue, Downingtown. Military honors will be performed at 5:45 p.m.
