Regina (Smith) Pashinski, 80, of Coatesville, passed away on Saturday, March 27, at her home.

Born in Plymouth, PA, Regina was the daughter of the late Jacob and Frances (Oakley) Smith. She was the beloved wife of the late William F. Pashinski who passed away in 2015. The couple shared 54 years of marriage.

Regina was employed by St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Downingtown, for the past 24 years. She was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Coatesville. Regina was an avid cat lover. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. Regina and her husband were foster parents for 14 years. In that time, they had 38 foster children.

Regina is survived by her daughter: Rennae Gushanas, wife of John, of Coatesville. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Brett Gushanas, fiancé of Liana Albitz, Amanda Abdala, and Brooke Gushanas; great-grandchildren: Vivian Gushanas, Aubrey Gushanas, Paul Abdala, and Nathan Abdala.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 11 siblings.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, March 31, at 11 AM at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 332 Manor Ave., Downingtown. A visitation will be held from 9:45-10:45 at the church. Interment will follow at All Souls Cemetery, Coatesville. It is kindly requested that all guests wear face coverings and practice social distancing.
