Randall Brooks Arpan, 71, of Exton, PA, passed away unexpectedly on September 10, 2022 in his home.

Randy was a graduate of Indiana University (Bloomington) and went on to become the Global Receivables Manager at Penske Truck Leasing. He traveled the world as a young man along with his father Floyd, mother Eleanor “Holly”, and siblings Cherie and Jeff. His appetite for travel fed his curiosity, as he loved all cultures and people of the world.

Randy enjoyed numerous sports as an athlete, spectator, and coach. As an athlete, Randy became a professional tennis player and also garnered numerous championship titles in squash. He cheered for the Atlanta Falcons and Philadelphia Eagles, Atlanta Braves, and of course USA Soccer – most importantly, he cheered for his kids no matter what sport they were playing. Possessing the heart of a teacher, (accompanied by a booming “HUSTLE, HUSTLE”, and “’AT A BOY”), Randy’s coaching skills were front and center at his sons’ tee-ball, baseball, football, and soccer games. In short time, he would establish an annual tradition with his sons at the 10K Peachtree Road Race in Atlanta, GA.

Randy’s quick-witted sense of humor, light-footed dance moves and charm were irresistible to the former Tiena Rook. The devoted husband spoiled his bride daily and they remained inseparable for the next 33 years.

His calming and selfless demeanor enabled him to make friends quickly. Often revered for possessing the patience of a saint, Randy personified unconditional love towards his children, his wife, and all the other people around him. In his professional life, Randy was loved dearly. He had just retired from Penske Truck Leasing after a successful 22 year career as a finance professional. He was an industry leader serving as President of the Transportation Revenue Management Group of the National Association of Credit Managers. A caring and concerned leader, Randy served as a mentor for so many throughout his career.  He will be sorely missed and never forgotten in so many hearts across the world that he touched within his teams at Penske.

In selfless fashion after his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Randy was a regular participant of the Mission Community Church where he served faithfully for years on the set-up and tear-down teams during the church’s mobile phase of her existence. He was also actively involved in the men’s ministry where he regularly encouraged and supported other men in their daily faith and life.  Randy was a faithful and amazing friend to all that he worshiped with and will be missed by his religious family.

Whatever the challenge, and whenever needed Randy answered the call. He proudly carried the title of son, brother, uncle, husband, father, grand-father, dance-partner, stunt-dad (“Unc”), dog-dad, mentor, boss, nurse Fred, papadux, and friend.

Survived by the most resilient woman and the love of his life Tiena; children, Cindi Peek (Chris Peek), Nathan Arpan (Rebekah Arpan), Justin “J.” Arpan and Jordan “J Bird” Arpan; he leaves with the eternal love of his sister, Cherie Sorokin; grandchildren, AnnaKate Mechler Bellorin (Andres Eloy Bellorin), Joshua Mechler; Savannah Arpan and Abigail Arpan; nephews, David Knowles and Alejandro Peñaranda; sister-in-law, Luz Arpan; nieces Laura Arpan (Art); Amy Arpan Morrison (Chris), Piper Arpan McTaggart (Dino); great niece Reed (Devon); great nephew Tucker and his grand dogs, Benny, Ginger, Missy, and Sebastian.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and “Holly;" brother, Jeff; son, Billy; and grandson, Will.

A memorial service will be held at 1 pm on Monday, September 19, 2022, at Mission Community Church, 216 E. Lancaster Ave, Downingtown Ave, PA, 19335.
