Ralph T. "Bo" Statton

June 2, 1944 ~ October 28, 2018 (age 74) 74 Years Old

Tribute

Ralph (Bo) Timothy Statton, 74, died October 28, 2018 peacefully in his home in Chester Springs.

He was born June 2, 1944 in Lafayette, Indiana to Kenneth and Doris Statton.

After serving in the armed forces during the Vietnam War, Bo spent his entire career in the hospitality industry and gave back to those around him as much as he ever received.  The bar he owned and operated in River Falls WI, Bo’s and Mine, is still in operation to this day and he was general manager of River Falls Country Club in Wisconsin before moving to Pennsylvania.  There he served as GM at Chester Valley and Whitford Country Clubs for over 15 years and was also a founding member of French Creek Golf Club in Elverson.

Later in life, his love for golf was surpassed only by his love for his grandchildren Ava, Jake and Ellie Dunham (ages 7, 5 & 2), Cassidy Statton (age 2) and Natalie Kenney (3 months).

Bo is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Ellen Statton; his sister, Eileen Shelton; and his 3 children, Brandon Statton, Edith Dunham, Jenna Kenney and their spouses.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Doris Statton; and his sisters, Phillis Gilliland and Pamela Noon.

Bo's family will be receiving relatives and friends from 5 to 8 pm on Friday, November 2nd at the James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 E. Lancaster Ave., Downingtown.

His Memorial Mass will be held at 10 am on Saturday, November 3rd at St. Elizabeth Church, 110 Saint Elizabeth Dr., Chester Springs.

Interment will be private.
