Ralph J. Erdman

Ralph J. Erdman, 88 of West Chester passed away on Sunday July 14, 2019 at the Penn Medicine Hospice in West Chester. He was the husband of the late Ella Schweiger Erdman with whom he shared 56 years of marriage. 

Born in Treverton, Pa. he was the son of the late Donald V. & Anna Martin Erdman. 

Mr. Erdman served our country proudly in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was retired from the George W. Kugler Trucking Company where he worked for 35 years. 

Ralph is survived by two daughters Angela E. Smith and Linda Mellinger. Also survived by his granddaughter Marina Garcia (Abdon) and his great-grandchildren Nicole & Jordan MacCann and Alicia & A.J. Garcia.  

Funeral services for Ralph will be held on Wednesday July 17, 2019 at 11 AM from the James J. Terry Funeral Home 736 E. Lancaster Ave Downingtown where friends may call from 9:30 to 10:45 AM.
