He was the beloved husband of the late Bettina “Tina” DeAngelo DeMicco, with whom he shared 55 years of marriage at the time of her passing in 2012.

Paul worked for Bettina’s family at The Black Angus Inn for many years until he purchased his own restaurant; The Peddler Inn located in Honey Book. After 15 years of restaurant ownership, Paul and Tina retired to Bonita Springs, Florida where they enjoyed being snowbirds.
Paul enjoyed the sun and could sit on his poolside lounge chair for hours soaking up all the Vitamin D he could possibly tolerate. Everyone always commented on how tan Paul would get.
His favorite thing to do on a Saturday morning was to visit yard sales. He would rise and shine quicker than ever to join the “4 O’clockers” as he would call them.
