Patricia Ann Boyd

Patricia Ann (Miller) Boyd, 88, of Exton, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at Paoli Hospital.

Born in Downingtown, Patricia was the daughter of the late Edward and Sara Reeder Miller. She worked at Denny Reyburn in West Chester and Wyeth Laboratories in Great Valley as a machine operator for 34 years.

She loved and enjoyed watching her family grow and thrive, watching the Philadelphia Phillies and playing cards.  She had many wonderful friends throughout her life. She is a lung cancer survivor for 12 years.

Patricia is survived by her daughters: Linda Draves of Glenmoore and Dawn Rich (Brian) of Downingtown; grandchildren: Dayle Hammons (Matthew) and Edward J. Draves IV (Alana); great grandchildren: Carter Hammons, Austin Hammons, Grace Draves and nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her former spouse Herbert D. Boyd; by five brothers and one sister (Edward, Allen, Louise Mento, Donald, Theodore and Robert) and by her grandson, Tyler Rich.

Services will be conducted privately at the convenience of the family. Interment will be at Philadelphia Memorial Park, Frazer.

Memorial contributions in Patricia’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
