Mary Patricia Laraio, 99, of Honey Brook, PA passed away peacefully the evening of August 14, 2018.
Mary was born to the late William and Honora Clime (nee Walsh) on September 15, 1918, in Philadelphia, PA. She was also the loving wife of the late David V. Laraio.
Mary was a devoted parishioner of St. Bernard Church in Philadelphia for more than 60 years where in 1985 she was honored to be named among the first Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. She joyfully served at Mass and visited the homebound for many years. Mary was also a long time member of the Catholic Daughters of America.
Anyone who knew Mary would know that the people around her – friends, family, and neighbors – were very dear to her heart.
Mary was pre-deceased by all her siblings: John, Anne, Frank, Tom, and Vince (Bud) and by her niece, Nancy Clime Morgan, and nephews, William; Tom and Jack Clime.
She is survived by nieces Barbara Gormley, Pat McGuirl, Kathy Riexinger, Meg Parlapiano and Judy Clime and by nephews Jim, Michael and Bob Clime.
Services for Mary will be held Saturday, August 18 2018 at Saint Peter Church, 2835 Manor Rd., West Brandywine, PA 19320 with public visitation 9:15am – 9:45am and Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 10:00am.
Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 3301 W Cheltenham Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19150 with graveside service at 12:15pm.
