Martha Anna (Gabold) Raymond

 Martha Anna Raymond (nee Gabold), 97, passed away the morning of March 23rd, 2024 at Morningside (Formally Sunrise) of Exton. Born in Garitz, Germany to the late Valentine and Ludwina Gabold (nee Memmel), Martha moved to the United States after marrying her late husband, Army veteran Harry W. Raymond while he was stationed overseas during World War II. They shared 45 years of marriage together before his death in July of 1992.

Anyone who knew Martha will remember that she loved to knit, enjoyed good food and drink, spending time with her family and friends, as well as walks with her dog in the park.

Martha is survived by her son Henry W. Raymond, spouse Maureen, as well as 4 grandchildren, Christine, Michele, Theresa, Denise and 2 great grandchildren, Dylan and Derrick.

In addition to her parents and husband, Martha is preceded in death by her daughter, Ursula and Martha's sister, Erna.

A memorial service for Martha will be held Saturday, March 30, 2024, 11:15 AM at the James J. Terry Funeral Home, Downingtown.
