Leonard Carl Blechman, 96, passed away at the Coatesville VA medical center, Sunday, November 20th, 2022. Born in West Chester on November 1, 1926, Leonard was son to the late Louis Blechman and Pearl Waldman.
After graduating from Scott High School Coatesville, PA. Leonard served in the United States Army during the final years of World War II. Afterwards he received an associate degree from Spring Garden Institute in Philadelphia. For a majority of his life, Leonard worked as a Television technician for Sears until his retirement in 1979.
He spent most of his free time with his family, primarily with his nieces and nephews. His personal hobbies included reading, fishing, and building and repairing anything electronic.
Leonard is survived by his brother, Robert M. Blechman.
In addition to his parents, Leonard is preceded in death by his two brothers, Ronald I. Blechman Sr., and Paul R. Blechman, as well as Dolores Kennedy his companion of over 25 years.
