Kenneth Corey Lavender, 41, of Modena, passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at Reading Hospital.
Born in Coatesville, he was the son of Kenneth White and Theresa Lavender.
Corey lived for fishing and hunting. He fished many rivers, ponds, lakes, creeks, and oceans in many states with his family and friends. He eagerly awaited the yearly New York fishing trip with his buddies. He loved spending time with his family, especially educating the kids about the outdoors. He enjoyed telling everyone all of the fun facts he has acquired over the years. Corey spent a lot of his free time creating his own lures and hooks. He was a die-hard Philadelphia Eagles fan. Corey will be truly missed by many but forgotten by none.
He is survived by his daughter, Courtney K. Lavender; his fiancé, Bridget Tuggle; stepson Devante “Goober” Tuggle and fiance Trish, stepdaughter Sierra Tuggle, adopted son Adam Jackson Jr.; and the niece he raised, Aja Wise; grandsons William & Jaceon Tuggle; Brother Ronald Lavender; sisters Brandie & Kahla Lavender; maternal grandmother Tillie Lavender; paternal grandfather Sonny White; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and an enormous group friends.
A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m., Friday, January 10, 2020 at the James J. Terry Funeral Home, 1060 W. Lincoln Highway, COATESVILLE.
Interment will be private with the family.
