Kathleen L. Beck, 68, of Downingtown, passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2020, at home surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Ardmore, raised in Newtown Square, she was the daughter of the late James and Kathleen Dwyer. She attended St Anastasia School and Cardinal O’Hara High School. It was during these high school years that she met and dated the love of her life, Jim.  They were married on May 1, 1971. A few years later they moved to Downingtown to start their family and have remained there ever since.

Kathleen had many jobs, hobbies, and interests but what was most important to her was her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to all. She was also incredibly involved in charity work and loved spending time helping others.

Kathleen is survived by her husband James W Beck Jr., daughters Jennifer Frey (Brian) and Lindsay Beck (William); grandchildren Connor and Kaely; and siblings Margie Lennon, Jim Dwyer, Jack Dwyer, Chuck Dwyer, and Jeanne Cassidy. She was predeceased by her father James Dwyer, mother Kathleen Dwyer, and sister Sheila Haughey.

Open to all, family and friends may call Thursday June 18, 2020 from 9:45am-10:45am, followed by Mass at 11:00am at St Joseph Catholic Church, 338 Manor Ave., Downingtown PA.  Burial includes immediate family only.  The family understands if you can not attend the services for Kathleen due to COVID-19.  Mass will be available to view by clicking the link above. 

Due to COVID-19 a celebration of Kathleen's life will be held once the pandemic issue is resolved.
