Joseph "Joe" P. Spinelli

Joseph “Joe” P. Spinelli, age 74, of West Bradford Township, passed away on Friday morning, September 7, 2018, at Neighborhood Hospice surrounded by his loving family. Joe was born in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Joseph J. and Marie Rose (nee Clarke) Spinelli.

For 25 years, Joe worked for the Boeing Company as a manufacturing engineer. He received his Associates Degree in Engineering from Drexel University.

Joe was a “one of a kind” man with a great sense of humor. He was quick-witted, and always brought a smile to anyone’s face, even after a session of teasing. He had the unofficial title of the “Mayor of Fawn Lane,” where he and his wife Sharon resided for over 32 years.

Joe stayed active between coaching for CYO basketball team and softball teams, and also Caln little league softball. Although he was busy with coaching, he always made time for his family and made them his number one priority. He was a loving husband; father, brother, friend, and a true leader, who will be sadly missed.

In addition to his parents, Joe is preceded in death by his daughter, Angela “Angie” Spinelli, who passed away in 2017.

Joe is survived by his wife, Sharon Spinelli, whom together shared  47 years marriage, 3 sons; Richard Paul, Jonathan Joseph, and Patrick Charles (Samantha) Spinelli, 3 siblings; Marie Ann Cole, Paul (Judi), and 

Charles (Kathy) Spinelli, 2 granddaughters; Zoey Jane Miller and Gianna Grace-Marie Spinelli, 2 step grandchildren; Riley and Lucas, and many other extended family and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, September 11, 2018, at 12pm, at St. Joseph Church, 332 Manor Avenue, Downingtown, PA, where family and friends will be received from 10am-11:50am. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery, Downingtown, PA.

In honor of Joe’s passion for coaching, the family asks that in lieu of flowers, a contribution be made to any favorite little league softball team.
