Joseph M. D'Andrea

Joseph M. D’Andrea, 78, of Downingtown, passed away on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at Dresher Hill Nursing Home.  He was the beloved husband of Elaine M. D’Andrea (Troop) who he celebrated 49 ½ years of marriage.

Born in West Chester, he was the son of the late Anthony and Mary D'Andrea (O’Dorisio).

Joseph worked 30 years at Tredyffrin Easttown School District, he then retired and moved to Florida. Joseph loved spending time at all the Disney theme parks, he also loved camping, gardening and spending time at the beach.

In addition to his wife, Joseph is survived by his two sons, Joseph M. D’Andrea, II (Stacy McGavin) and Jamie L. D’Andrea (Tanya Bauer); a brother, Anthony DiAndrea (Freddie); a sister, Joanne Ganski (John) and by a granddaughter, Gianna D’Andrea.  He was predeceased by a sister, Rosemary Castiglioni.

A viewing will be held from 9:45-10:45 a.m. followed by a liturgy service at 11:00 a.m., on Monday, July 26, 2021 at the James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 E. Lancaster Avenue, Downingtown.

Interment will be private with the family.
