John E. Lewis

John E. Lewis, age 71 of Gap passed away on Saturday June 23, 2018 at his residence with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Judith A. (nee Gregor) Lewis.

Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late Ralph & Mabel Grow Lewis.

John was a 1966 graduate of Scott High School. He was retired from Lukens Steel where he worked as an Inspector before retiring in 2007

John was a member of the Brandywine Goddard Lodge # 383, Oxford Royal Arch. # 223, Centennial Command RV # 55, Valley of Reading Accepted Scottish Rite, Fraternal Chapter # 249 Order of the Eastern Star. Loyal Order of the Moose # 297 and the West Caln Sportsman’s Club.

In addition to his wife Judith, John is survived by his 3 daughters, Rebecca A. Lewis ( Bill Davis ), Kathleen Lewis ( Sharon Kuleski )and Jennifer R. Grady ( Shawn ). Also survived by his grandchildren Shawn Michael and Emily E. Grady, great- grandchildren Jocelyn R. Jones-Grady and Annalyse Jones.  

John was pre-deceased by his siblings Ralph, Donald, Mary, Eva, Elizabeth and Margaret.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Friday June 29, 2018 at 11 am from the James J. Terry Funeral Home 1060 W. Lincoln Highway COATESVILLE, Pa. where friends may call from 9:15 to 10:45 am.  The Brandywine Goddard Lodge # 383 will conduct a masonic service at 10:45 am.
