John A. Henry

Died on March, 20, 2024 in Coatesville Pa. He was born May 5, 1931 in Altoona, PA. He was preceded in death by his mother, Louise Figart Henry and son, Andrew Karl Henry.

He is survived by his wife Laura, son John R. (Pam) and grandson George A. Henry, and several nieces and nephews.

He graduated from Altoona High School in 1949, served in the U.S. Air Force, during the Korea War from Dec. 1949 - June 1953. He spent 33 years working in the Department of Defense.

He graduated from the University of Maryland and attended Southern Baptist Seminary (Louisville, KY) for three years.

He served as a bi-vocational pastor in Maryland.

He was married for 70 years to his wife Laura.

He was a member of the Exton Community Baptist Church.

A visitation will be held on Monday, March 25, 2024 from 9:45-10:45 AM at Exton Community Baptist Church: 114 E. Swedesford Rd., Exton, PA 19341. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM at the church.

Burial will be in Logan Valley Cemetery in Bellwood, PA.
