John J. Hall

John J. Hall, 64, passed away at home Sunday, May 27, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. Born on February 22, 1954, John was the loving husband of Bonnie, with whom he shared 34 years of marriage, and loving father of Amanda and Kari.

John was known for his love of cooking, working in the yard, and great story telling. He was a proud Tug Boat Captain in the Merchant Marines and retired in 2009 as Project Superintendent for IMC Construction.

He was a dedicated fan of the Phillies, Flyers and, of course, the Eagles.

John was all about his family, home, and dogs.

In addition to his wife and daughters, John is survived by his sisters Joyce DuVall and Barbara Rotondo; his sister-in-law and husband Candye and Lloyd Ronchetti; along with a number of nieces and nephews. John is preceded in death by his parents, Russell J. Hall and Muriel R. Smith; and his brother, James Hall.

A funeral service will be held Sunday, June 3, 2018 at 1:00 pm James J. Terry Funeral Home 736 E. Lancaster Ave Downingtown, PA 19335, friends are welcome to come pay their respects starting at 12:00 pm.  John’s family requests that everyone wear bright colors in celebration of his life.
