Jeanne M. (Stamm) Campbell, 92, passed away at Simpson Meadows in Downingtown, PA, on June 12, 2020, due to complications from COVID-19.  Born on January 12, 1928, in East Brunswick Township, Schuylkill County, PA, she was the daughter of Raymond G. and Mary D. Stamm.  

A graduate of Tamaqua High School, Jeanne was a skilled pianist and church organist during her adolescent years.  She received her RN diploma from Thomas Jefferson Hospital in 1948.  She worked as a school nurse in the New Ringgold area until her marriage to Wallace Campbell on August 25, 1951, and his transfer to the San Francisco Bay area that fall.  During the 9 years they lived there, they had their two daughters.  In 1960 they were transferred to Joplin, Missouri.  Their two sons were born during that period.  In 1970, they were transferred to Wilmington, DE, where Wallace joined Central Engineering.  Wallace retired in 1989 after 39 years of service, after which they enjoyed traveling for over 20 years.

Jeanne is survived by her daughters Dianne C. Kuchlak (Walter) and Christine L. Salisbury (Perry); son Mark S. Campbell, MD (Cindy); sister Eileen L. Mau, and sister-in-law Beatrice Lucille Stamm; 5 grandchildren: Aimee Patterson (Scott), Andrew Salisbury (Lauren), and Andrea Brown (Steven), Rebekah Campbell, and Emily Kuchlak; as well as 8 great-grandsons and one great-granddaughter.

Jeanne was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Wallace Lowe Campbell, in 2013; her parents, Raymond George Stamm and Mary Dreher Stamm, and her brother Raymond David Stamm.  Her son, Scott David Campbell, who was brain injured at birth, died at age 22 after being cared for by her at home all his life.

Due to the pandemic, a private burial will take place with immediate family.
