James "J.C." Criser Jr.

James “J.C.” Criser Jr., 68, of Coatesville, passed away the morning of Thursday, January 9, 2020 at Brandywine Hospital. Born to the late James C. Criser Sr. and Evelyn D. Carter in Hot Springs, Virginia; JC  was the loving husband of 44 years to Darlene E. Smith.

Anyone who knew JC will remember him as a loving husband, father, brother and friend. JC work at Deluxe Check Printers in Paoli PA for 27 years. He was also a member of Coatesville Country Club.

In addition to his wife, Darlene, JC is survived by his Son, Brett Criser; sisters Gloria (Teddy) Rucker, Cindy Folks, brothers Jerry and Steve, nieces and nephews and their children.

In addition to his parents, JC is preceded in death by his sister, Gayle Wolfe, and Brothers Gary and Terry Criser.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 14, 2020, 11:30 AM at the James J. Terry Funeral Home 736 E. Lancaster Ave. Downingtown PA, 19335. Friends are welcome to the visitation prior at the funeral home from 10:00 – 11:15AM.
