Geri (Geraldine) Gallagher, 55, of Malvern, died peacefully on Monday, March 12, 2018 in North Oaks, Minnesota after courageously fighting Young-onset Alzheimer’s disease for years.
Born in West Chester, she was the daughter of Mary Hogan Gallagher and the late James K. Gallagher.
She will always be remembered for her loving heart, her dedication to being a Mom, her vibrant smile and bright beautiful blue eyes, her many friendships, her endless conversations, her passion for serving older adults, her faith in God and so much more.
In addition to her mother, Mary, Geri is survived by her children, Caitlin (Vince), Gerald (Emily), and Courtney; sisters, Mary Kay (Dave) and Tricia (Phil); brother, Jimmy (Dora); grandchildren, Landon, Quinn and Nina; and many other family members and friends. She will meet again with her dad, Jim; sister, Eileen; and grandson, Roman.
A morning visitation will be held from 9:45 to 10:45 am on Saturday, March 24th at St. Joseph Church, 338 Manor Ave., Downingtown, followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am.
Interment will be private and at a later date.
Geri is loved by so many and she would hope for a cure for Alzheimer’s disease and more support for caregivers.
