April 8, 1942 ~ July 29, 2021 (age 79) 79 Years Old

Tribute

Frank D. Kuch, 79, passed away on July 29, 2021, surrounded by his family after a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease.

Frank was born in 1942, in Coatesville, Pennsylvania. From a young age he strived to achieve excellence in all that he did. He was a Boy Scout that earned every badge possible and continued up until the honored rank of Eagle Scout. Life was certainly not handed to him. Frank had a relentless spirit that pushed him to work harder than anyone.

Frank attended Rutgers University on a football and baseball scholarship where he majored in Business and earned his bachelor’s degree. He had been recruited to join a MLB minor team but passed on this opportunity to remain home with his family.

Frank married Susan Rostron in 1965. He had known her since childhood and adored her until his final days.

Frank traveled the globe through his varies roles as a business leader for many years until he planted roots in the suburbs of Philadelphia with his family and founded Advanced Office Environments (AOE) in 1984. Always motivated by taking care of his loved ones and the people who helped build AOE, he worked and worked and worked some more! He was a quiet leader. Dedicated. Strong. Kind-hearted. Honorable. Humble.

Frank was most known for his work ethic and his entrepreneurial spirit. However, the moments he treasured most were relaxing at home while watching the Eagles, Phillies and Jeopardy with his wife and beloved Golden Retrievers, spoiling his grandkids with sweet treats and hugs, cabin trips with his sons, playing a competitive round of golf or horseshoes or a holiday meal surrounded by family.

Frank is survived by his wife Susan of 56 years, son Michael Kuch, son Stephen and wife Deborah Kuch, son Brian Kuch, daughter Joy Kuch (Pratt) and husband Graham Pratt, brothers Arthur and Robert Kuch, sister Patricia Becktold and his grandchildren Taylor and Nathanael Kuch, Florence and Eveline Pratt and Sayla Kuch, nieces, nephews and extended family. Frank was a dedicated and loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, mentor and friend.

We will be celebrating his life with a private memorial service. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to support Rutgers Athletic Scholarship Fund. Frank supported this fund for over 40 years in gratitude and to give back for the benefit of others, for the athletic scholarship that gave him the opportunity for his college education and career path.
