Elaine Mary Townsend

Elaine Mary Townsend-Davis , 69, of West Chester passed away Monday, August 20, 2018. The daughter of the late Norman and Margaret Bird (nee Pollini), she was the loving wife of Robert (Bob) Davis.

An avid Flyers fan, Elaine is remembered as a kind soul that had great love for her family, and her beloved dog, Opal and for people in general.

Elaine had a green thumb and enjoyed spending time gardening; her favorite flowers being hyacinths.

Christmas was her favorite day of the year, and she fostered the spirit of the holiday all year round.

In addition to her husband Bob, Elaine is survived by her children Jacqueline Shores (Dennis), and Kerry Watson; sister Helen M. Oster; brother, Robert Bird Jr. (Linda); granddaughter Tara Shores; niece Kristen Molloy, and nephews, Jeffrey Molloy and Alan Oster.

Services for Elaine will be held Saturday, September 1, 2018 at 3:00pm at the James J Terry Funeral Home 736 E. Lancaster Ave Downingtown PA 19335. Calling hours will be from 2:00pm – 2:50pm.
