Dina M. Pollini

Dina M. Pollini, 86, of Downingtown, passed away on Monday, July 2, 2018 at Chester County Hospital.  She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony Pollini, with whom she shared 60 years of marriage prior to his passing in 2010.

Born in Sicily, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Rosario and Agata Casella Formica.

Dina was an amazing Italian cook and loved spending quality time with her family, especially for Sunday dinners. 

She is survived by her three daughters, Aggie Butler (John Patrick), Dina Stern (William) and Josephine Johnson (David); a brother, Sam Formica (Linda); two sister-in-laws, Rose Formica and Martha Manizzi; Nine grandchildren, Anna Marie, Ian, William, Patrick, Antonia, Christina, David, Alexandra and Erica and by 7 great grandchildren.  In addition to her husband, Dina was predeceased by her son, Joseph Pollini and her siblings, Joseph and Anthony Formica and Rose Gordon.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 7, 2018 at St. Joseph Church, 332 Manor Avenue, Downingtown, where family and friends will be received from 9-10:45 a.m.

Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Downingtown.
