Delmar W. Jones

Delmar W. Jones, 89, of West Chester passed away on the evening of December 7th at his home. He was the son of the late Delmar M. Jones and Vera Bush Jones and former husband of Barbara Dilworth of Downingtown.

Anyone who knew Delmar will remember him for being an honest, hardworking man who loved and provided for his family and also for his dry sense of humor.

Delmar is survived by his children, Robert Jones (Debbie), Delmar David Jones (Jennifer) and Kathy A. Landis (Henry) ; Grandchildren Amy, Heather, Kelly, Sarah, Amanda (Emmanuel), David, Samantha and Jessica ; brother Harold Jones.

Delmar is predeceased by son, Alan Jones and sister Virginia Lee Bloomer (Frank).
He will be missed by many other family and friends.

There will be a visitation on Wednesday December 11, 9:30am-10:45am at the James J. Terry funeral home, 736 E. Lancaster Ave. Downingtown followed by a service at 11:00. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to James Terry Funeral Home for funeral expenses.
