Cathy C. Parker

Cathy A. Crawford Parker, a vibrant wife, beloved mother and sweet grandmother, died Monday, March 25, 2024 at Chester County Hospital in West Chester,  PA from complications from a stroke. She was 71.

She was born April 15,1952 in Pittsburgh,PA. She was the daughter of the late John W. and Emma Jean Crawford. Cathy graduated from Hempfield High School in 1970 and earned her Associate Degree from Southern Seminary Junior College of Virginia and a Bachelor's Degree from Seton Hill College in Greensburg PA. 

Cathy spent many years as a devoted mother before returning to the workforce in advertising sales with The Daily Local Newspaper of West Chester, PA, a career that led her to meeting the love of her life, Anthony D’Orsaneo.  Cathy adored her poodles and found joy in their companionship.  Their loyalty and affection brought immense comfort to her life. Cathy will be remembered for her big personality and fierce loyalty to her closest friends and family.  

She is survived by her husband, Anthony D’Orsaneo of East Fallowfield, PA.; Her children from a previous marriage, Phillip Parker, Jr. of West Chester and Caroline (Doug) Kiesler of Nashville,TN. and three grandchildren Whaylen Parker; and Parker & Robert  “Bo” Kiesler; her sister Duffy Crawford Weir of Baltimore,MD. Her parents and her brother, Kevin Crawford predeceased her.  In addition, her stepchildren Mario D’Osaneo of Elverson, PA and Louis D’Orsaneo of Sarasota, Florida; she has two nieces and one nephew.
