Carol A. Starr, 67, of Downingtown, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at Sunrise Assisted Living in Exton.

Born in West Chester, she was the daughter of the late Clyde H. and Anna G. Scarborough Starr.

Carol loved to travel especially to Maine and Gettysburg. She published a book about ghosts in Gettysburg and also did a spot on a tv show called Ghost Hunters. She was a former fan club president for a Tom Jones fan club. Carol loved getting together for the Holidays with family and friends.

Thank you so much to Sunrise Senior Living for caring for Carol the past 15 months and also Willow Tree Hospice for all that they did the past 6 days.

Carol is survived by her two sisters, Sharon J. Powell and her husband Forrest, Cindy Starr; and by a nephew Dawson Starr.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 27, 2021 at the James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 E. Lancaster Avenue, Downingtown.  Family and friends will be received from 12:45-1:45 p.m.

Interment will be private with the family.
