Barbara A. Ruark

Barbara A. (Powell) Ruark, 90, of Lionville, passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2024.

Born in West Chester, Barbara was the daughter of the late Elmer and Anna (Watters) Powell. She was the wife of the late George H. Ruark, who passed away in 1999.

Barbara had been a member of the Lionville Fire Company Auxiliary. She enjoyed bowling and working on her family businesses: B&G Storage and Clover Croft Farm Market.

Barbara is survived by her sisters: Nancy Habecker and Kay Thoensen; numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Barbara was preceded in death by her brother: Donald Powell and companion: R. Frank Moore Sr.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 1, 2024, at 11 AM at Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery: 490 W. Boot Rd., West Chester, PA 19380.

Memorial contributions in Barbara’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society.
