Antoinette Carol Murphy

Antoinette “Carol” Murphy, age 70, of Downingtown, PA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 2, 2019, at Neighborhood Hospice.

Carol was born in West Chester, PA to the late Lester Ray Francis and Antoinette Mento.
For many years Carol worked as a shipping and receiving attendant at the Reynold’s Metal Factory. She was married to her soul mate and best friend Robert “Bob”, who shared 36 years together. Carol could be described as ornery, but she would do anything for her family. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy, and she shared the title “mom mom” to all the children who knew her.

She is survived and missed by her husband Bob Murphy, daughters; Kathy Loyd, Monica Samans(Carl), Laurie Francis, and son Michael (Heather) Francis, step children; Robert Murphy and MarahMurphy, and 14 grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to Carol's memorial service on Friday, February 8, 2019, at 11am at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 132 E Valley Forge Rd., King of Prussia, PA 19406, where family and friends will be received from 9:30am-10:45am.

In lieu of flowers, a donation in Carol's memory can be made to a children's charity of one's choosing.
