Great was my uncle. He was awesome. We worked together quite a bit. He gave me a job when I needed one badly. He was happy to pick me up and drop me off every day. He taught me a lot about the building trade. But what I really like most about him was his humongous hart. For instance. One day we were working together and he received a call late in the day from one of his many clients. The lady explained that her sink was leaking non stop. When we finished the job we were on (after 6pm) he raced over to this woman's house. When we got there he spoke to her and we went to work. Her utility sink was leaking from the faucet. We spent over an hour there, it was not an easy fix to say the least. Well we fixed it and went upstairs. The 80+year old lady was very happy and asked Greg what she owed him. Greg politely smiled and told her not to worry about it. The lady smiled at him a bit shocked. This is the kind of things he did always. He cared about people. I will never forget how kind he was and it made me a better person working with him. I will miss him badly😓. I am very upset I will miss his funeral being that I am away on work in New England. If you can hear me Uncle Greg thank you for all that you have taught me and life will. It be the same without you.

I will always remember Gregg as a gentle giant. He was as comfortable carving an ice sculpture as ripping out kitchen cabinets with his bare hands. My Grandson, Austin, once said as he was looking at Gregg's shoes, "Are those a giant's shoes?". Yes, Austin they are your Uncle Gregg's shoes. He is a gentle giant.
Gregg would stand in my kitchen and my Chihuahua would be dancing around Gregg's feet and Gregg would bend over and pick up the dog with one giant hand and stroke the dog's head with one finger. Meanwhile, the cats would be weaving in and out of his legs looking for a little Uncle Gregg love too. They too could see his kind and tender heart. The heart of a gentle giant.
Gregg will be greatly missed but he will live forever in our hearts. He will be remembered as the kind, loving, tender gentle giant.

Gregg was my go to guy for all my crazy miss fix it jobs. He was never too busy to share his expertise, lend me a tool or even help me with whatever I was trying to fix. He was so chill and pleasant, I will miss him dearly. RIP neighbor.
