Audene “Dene” Paulson, 89, of Coatesville, formerly of West Chester, passed away peacefully, on Friday, February 9th, surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was a wonderful and extremely special wife, mother, “Gram” and friend to all. Audene was a charter member of Advent Lutheran Church where she was remarkably involved and a dedicated member; singing in the choir, quilting, visiting and preparing meals for the less fortunate. Audene received her BSN at the University of Wisconsin, worked at Chester County Hospital and retired after many years of service from Bryn Mawr Rehabilitation Hospital, as their Nursing Education Administer. Audene’s passion was spending time and celebrating special occasions with her children and grandchildren and traveling the world with family and dear friends. Audene was extremely talented, creative and active. She especially enjoyed sewing, singing, gardening, crafts, rummikub, daily walks with friends, skiing, sailing, theatre and performance outings. Audene was predeceased by her loving husband of 28 years, Stuart Paulson, her loving son, Gregory, her parents, John and Dora Larson, her sister, Janice Weart and son-in-law, Glenn McCausland. She is survived by her loving daughters, Kim Mill and Kristen McCausland, son-in-law Michael Mill, daughter-in-law Lynda Galeazzi and her adoring grandchildren, Ryan Paulson, Kyle McCausland, Jarrett Paulson, Bryan Mill and his wife Amanda Johnson-Mill, Kelsey McCausland and her fiancé Joseph Weaver and Kelly Mill. All are welcome to a Celebration of Life Service at Advent Lutheran Church 1601 Green Lane, West Chester, PA 19382, on March 31st at 1:00 pm. Interment will be private.
