William (Bill) Kennedy sadly left this plane on Thursday May 7th at 3:12 in hospice. With his loving wife Maureen and son Jim at his bedside, Bill's soul ascended to the next level.
Bill is survived by his wife Maureen, son William of Denver, CO, son James of Elverson, PA, and brother Dan of Aston, PA.
Bill was born in west Philadelphia then moved to upper Darby pa. where he spent most of his youth. He graduated from Henderson High School, and served 4 years in the United States Marine Corps. He met and married Maureen in 1970, lived in Bromall, and then moved to Exton in 73’. Bill worked various jobs before becoming an insurance agent and remained in that field until retirement. He was everybody’s favorite coach for youth travel soccer and baseball.
The family moved to Eagle, PA. in 88’. After retirement he and Maureen traveled most of North America by RV.
Late in life Bill volunteered his time at the Veteran’s administration hospital Coatesville, PA, as well as the Marine Corps League. Bill will be remembered for his infectious laugh, great sense of humor, overall he was a man of great integrity and will be missed. But never forgotten.
Services will be conducted privately at the convenience of the family.
