William Martin Boyd

William Martin Boyd, 69, of West Brandywine Township, passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2022, at his residence.

Born in Port Jervis, NY, William was the son of Jocelyn (Pratschler) Boyd and the late Denis Boyd. He was the husband of Eileen (DeGilio) Boyd. The couple shared 45 years of marriage.

William graduated from Madison Township High School in Old Bridge, New Jersey.  He later earned his bachelor's degree at the University of Virginia.  William served as a Client Executive for Novacost, Inc. describing himself as a Security Evangelist.  

William was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church.   He was a member of the Brandywine YMCA Board of Directors, serving on the Technology Committee.  William was an avid golfer and a member of the Knights of Columbus Golf League in Springfield, PA. Bill was well-known for his quick wit and passionate political views.  

In addition to his wife and mother, William is survived by his children: Michelle Boyd of Phoenixville, and Brian Boyd, husband of Emily of Lancaster; grandchild: Bowie Marie Boyd; sisters: Barbara England, wife of William England, and Susan Boyd.  William is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.  

An Evening Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 15, 2022, from 5-7 PM at James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 E. Lancaster Ave., Downingtown. A Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2022, from 9:45-10:45 AM at St. Peter Catholic Church, 2835 Manor Road, Coatesville. A Mass will be held at 11 AM at the church.
