William J. Amarant Sr.

William J. Amarant, Sr., 89, of West Chester, passed away on Friday, June 15, 2018 at Zerbe Sisters Nursing Center in Narvon. He was the beloved husband of the late Florence DeLuca Amarant, with whom he shared 61 years of marriage at the time of her passing in 2016.

Born and raised in Devon, William was the son of the late Louis and Elizabeth Nicoline Amarant and attended Radnor High School. Before his retirement, he was employed for 20 years in the maintenance department for Pocono Mountain School District.

Mr. Amarant is survived by his son, Rusty Amarante and his wife, Sandy, of Chester Springs and two granddaughters, Alexis Amarante of Chicago and Marissa Amarante of Philadelphia.

Services and interment will be private.
