Vicki Adams Johnson
April 23, 1953 – June 7, 2019
Vicki Adams Johnson, age 66, of Chester Springs, PA passed away on Friday, June 7th, 2019 at Paoli Hospital.
Vicki was born in Yokosuka, Japan to the late Edward (Edde) & Rae Adams.
Vicki was known for her love of cooking, compassion for others, and deep friendships. Vicki loved to work in her community; she was a member of the Hopewell United Methodist Church Women’s Group, Friends of the Chester Springs Library, and West Pikeland Arts & Culture Committee. Vicki also served as a volunteer at Chester County Fund for Women & Girls, Chester County United Way, and during local Elections. She was a graduate of University of North Texas with a degree in Education and Abilene Christian University with a Masters of Business. Vicki had several careers. She worked as a Teacher in the Dallas Public School System, College Text Book Consultant for Prentice Hall, Teacher at the American School in London, Installation Manager for Shared Medical Systems Corp. in both the United States and United Kingdom, IT Consultant at Abelson Legal Search, Library Research Educator at Villa Maria Academy, and owned a Home Staging business serving local realtors for many years. Vicki is survived by her husband Bob Johnson, son Matthew (Kristen) Johnson of Rochester, NY, brother Randy (Ruth) Adams of Austin, Texas, and aunt Linda (Tom) Carey of Heath, Texas.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10am Thursday June 13th, at Hopewell United Methodist Church (852 Hopewell Rd., Downingtown, PA 19335).
In lieu of flowers, a contribution can be made in Vicki’s name to the American Diabetes Association (www.diabetes.org) for research.
