Thomas G. Mest

Thomas G. Mest, 77 of West Chester passed away on Monday May 14, 2018 at the Neighborhood Hospice with his loving family by his side, he was the husband of Dorothy M. (Zittle) Mest with whom he shared 24 years of marriage.

Born in Pottstown he was the son of the late L. Wayne and Naomi Mest.

Mr. Mest was a controller for Wellsford Cabinetry in Stowe for the past fifteen years.

An avid gun enthusiast, Tom was a member of the Elverson Gun Club as well as the Downingtown VFW and Moose Lodge. He was also an Eagle Scout.

In addition to his wife Dorothy, he is survived by his step-children Cindy Arrowood ( John), Kathy Dougherty (Carey), Tommy Garvin (Debra) and Ashley Wood (Joel ). Also survived by his grandchildren Michael, Brandon, Joseph, Jenna and Jordon.

A funeral service for Tom will be held on Sunday May 20, 2018 at 12:30 pm from the James J. Terry Funeral Home 736 E. Lancaster Ave, Downingtown where friends may call from 11:00 to 12:30 pm.

Interment will be private.
