Teresa Marie Francella

Teresa Marie Francella, age 83, of Downingtown, PA, passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2019, at home surrounded by her loving family.

 Teresa was born in Downingtown, PA, to the late Leo and Josephine (nee Carbo) Ciarlone.

 In 1954, Teresa graduated from Downingtown High School. She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and dear friend. She loved to travel the world with her husband, Jack, and visiting her favorite country Italy. Her favorite pastimes included reading, crossword puzzles, but most importantly spending time with her grandchildren.

 In addition to her parents, Teresa is preceded in death by her siblings Leo Ciarlone, Marguerite Chicosky, and Joanne Calvarese.

 Teresa is survived by her husband John “Jack” Francella, whom together shared 61 years of marriage, 5 children; Brian (Jane), Susan Nice (Jim), David (Amy), Gary (Lee), and Jennifer Mullowney (Matt), 3 siblings; Gloria Biondi, Joseph and Anthony Ciarlone, 11 grandchildren; Sara Stone (Jon), Adam Francella (Annette), C.J. Nice, Matthew Nice, Laura Francella, Layne Francella, Ryan Francella, Jamie Francella, Olivia Francella, Shane Mullowney, and Maeve Mullowney.

 A memorial mass for Teresa will be held on Monday, July 15, 2019, at 10:30am, at St. Joseph Church, 338 Manor Avenue, Downingtown, PA 19335. Interment private.
