Steven J. Young Jr.

Steven J. Young, Jr., 46, of Downingtown, passed away suddenly on Saturday, July 3, 2021. 

Born in Phoenixville, he was the son of Marsha L. Wickes and Edward J. Gaughan.

At an early age, Steven developed both a talent and a passion for skateboarding.  Over the years, he has enjoyed skate parks, camps, and competitions from all around the country.  When he wasn’t working or skateboarding, Steven spent his time hanging out with his friends – either online gaming or in person.  A loyal son, brother, uncle and nephew; Steven valued his time with family most of all.

In addition to his parents, Steven is survived by his sister, Dana Dunn and her husband Jeff; his brother, Chris Gaughan and his wife Heather; his aunt, Laura Corradi; two nephews, Austin Dunn and Conner Gaughan and by his niece, Keira Dunn.

A viewing will be held from 5:30-6:45 p.m., Friday, July 9, 2021 followed by a liturgy service at 7:00 p.m., at the James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 E. Lancaster Avenue, Downingtown.

Interment will be private with the family.
