Steven H. Loomis, age 59, of Coatesville, PA, passed away suddenly on Sunday, September 3, 2017, at Brandywine Hospital.

Born in Germantown, PA, Steven was the son of the late Frank W. and Charlotte Anne (Friehofer) Loomis.

Steven was a proud veteran, and served in the United States Navy. For many years, Steven worked as an IT specialist for Comcast, and recently retired with Sevone. In 2017, Steven served as a trustee for the Thorndale Fire House.

In his spare time, Steven enjoyed golfing, fishing, gardening, playing ice hockey, and even baking. Most of all, Steven enjoyed his life to the fullest, and devoted himself to spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, Steven was predeceased by his brother Gary M. Loomis, and niece Heather D. Loomis.

Steven is survived and missed by his two children, Christopher and Kimberly Loomis (Michael Anthony Madonna, Jr.); his fiancée Gerry Krawchuk and her son Andrew; a grandson, Michael Anthony Madonna, III; a brother Frank W. Loomis; two sisters; Penny Dougherty and Sandra Barrows, stepmother Diane Sercy, and all the extended family and friends who had the privilege to know and love him.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Steven’s funeral service on Saturday, September 9, 2017, at 11AM, at the James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 E. Lancaster Avenue. Viewing times will be held from 9:30AM-10:50AM. Burial will follow immediately to Our Lady of Consolation Cemetery, Parkesburg, PA.

In lieu of flowers, a donation in Steven’s name can be made to the James J. Terry Funeral Home to fray burial expenses during this difficult time.
